Service Agreement
- Deposit is requested to book your venue unless other arrangements are agreed upon.
- Final payment can be made in full or paid in cash to the artist the day of arrival. Client agrees to pay full amount even if client uses artist for less time than booked. Booked fees include: Professional face artist, professional FDA approved products, venue time, glitter and gems, professional brushes and sponges used by artist, set up/ clean up, detailed contract, lots of creativity and fun for all!
- All parties/ events are subject to availability
- Special rates are available to charitable and non-profit events. Please contact Donna for competitive quote.
- Travel fee's may apply to mileage over 25 miles round trip
- Deposits will be returned if notified of cancellation prior to 10 days of scheduled event. If the client needs to postpone for any reason, the artist will work with the client to reschedule party or event to another date.
- It is recommended to book minimum of 5 weeks in advance, call for availability
Liability: Picasso Face and Body Painting carries public liability insurance and follows a strict practice of hygiene and sanitation. Certificates of insurance can be provided for events on request. All products are FDA approved and only the finest makeup and glitters are used; however, Artist is not responsible for allergic reactions to any products used. We stress to responsible parties and parents to notify the artist if their child has sensitive skin. It is not recommended to paint children 2 and under. Artist will refuse to paint on anyone who appears to be sick or is suffering from cold sores, conjunctivitis, and any infectious skin conditions such as; eczema or open wounds. Artist will always use good judgment. Picasso artist are not responsible for the supervision of children. For the safety and protection of the child, it is the parents responsibility.
Shelter: The artist can work outdoors under proper weather conditions. If shelter needs to be provided by Picasso Face and Body Painting there will be an additional cost or a suitable shelter must be supplied by client.
The artist will not work if conditions pose a hazard to their health or safety - this includes but limited to: exposure to weather and sudden extreme weather events: hazards such as flying debris, exhaust, fumes, smoke or other irritants; threatening or rowdy individuals or customers excessive alcohol use and drunken behavior; verbal abuse from customers or staff; sudden illness or injury to the artist. The artist alone will make the decision on whether they feel their health or safety are at risk and will shut down if they feel there is any risk whatsoever. The customer will be billed at the regular hourly rate only for the hours actually worked and any additional expenses such as travel, incurred to attend the booking.
Parking it is respectfully requested that the artist has parking near the event location, so the supplies may be unloaded. If arrangements cannot be made for parking close to the location, then Picasso artist respectfully requests the client to provide help to unload supplies and help deliver to designated set up area for the artist. Any parking fees will be reimbursed.
Check payments
There will be a $30.00 fee for returned checks, plus the amount of the check due.
Overtime: Picasso artist are happy to extend their agreed time provided they do not have another scheduled event for that day. The client agrees to pay contracted rate per hour, per artist; payable in cash the day of the event.
