This years Festival event has been challenging for everyone involved due to the unbelievable amounts of rain received for 4 days straight. However, the volunteer staff and management of the sites were very accommodating, above all you were always greeted with smiles and kind words.
I do look forward to "2014" preferably without the rain!

Held annually on the grounds of Montpelier, the lifelong home of James Madison, the fourth President of the United States and the "Father of the Constitution," the Festival showcases distinctive arts and crafts; specialty food venders; live music; cooking with wine classes; children's entertainment, Picasso face and body painting, rides; and tastings all day.   October 21 Picasso Face Painting will be painting adult themes for the Virginia Living Museum for their Nocturnal Halloween Event. So those of you with no imagination, Let Donna Christensen transform you into a haunted or ghoulish creature of the night. Come join in the most Wickedly Wild event, including wicked tunes, most outrageous costume with to die for prizes, haunted galleries, a Magickal Psychic Medium, also participate in an active Ghost Hunt with the Paranormal Society. $25 in advance/ $30 day of event Fundraiser supports the Virginia Living Museum October 21, Friday 9pm until midnight Virginia Living Muesum, located in Newport News,VA   Donna Christensen's face art for a patron at the James County Fair.
