This years Festival event has been challenging for everyone involved due to the unbelievable amounts of rain received for 4 days straight. However, the volunteer staff and management of the sites were very accommodating,  above all you were  always greeted with smiles and kind words.   
I do look forward to "2014" preferably without the rain!

The Montpelier Wine Festival is a premier spring event for the whole family.  Held annually on the grounds of Montpelier, the lifelong home of James Madison, the fourth President of the United States and the "Father of the Constitution," the Festival showcases distinctive arts and crafts; specialty food venders; live music; cooking with wine classes; children's entertainment, Picasso face and body painting, rides; and tastings all day.

The Glow Run 5K - Richmond will take place on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 at 8PM.  The Race will start and finish at the historic Richmond International Raceway. 

March 23   Picasso Face and Body Painter will be featured at Hartstrings Childrenswear located at the Williamsburg Prime Outlet.  Looking for a new spring look for the kids..........you can start with a face painting.  Come visit!

Tall ships have sailed the oceans and seas of the world for centuries.  The first tall ship made landfall on the eastern seaboard of the United States over 400 years ago in 1607 with one notable voyage culminating the exploration of the Chesapeake Bay by John Smith.
From June 8-12 Cape Charles joins in celebrating the commemoration of the 
Two Hundredth Anniversary of the war of 1812 and the writing of the Star Spangle Banner.

Attending this event were featured tall ships Sultana, Lynx and Appledore V, complete with costumed re-enactors.  In addition, the USS Zephyr (PC-8) will be on display honoring the role of the Navy from the war of 1812 to modern day.

Throughout the weekend you found many different entertainers attending the Tall Ships of Cape Charles to help celebrate, including Picasso face and body painter of Williamsburg VA.

Montpelier Wine Festival is held at the historic James Madison Plantation where you will find 24 area wineries to spend your day with friends and family.  Exceptional wines, great food & entertainment, cooking with Wine Demonstrations and unique crafters.  Picasso face and body painter, Virginia's premier face artist was among the children's entertainment including Orange County 4-H goat club, the famous Barrel train ride and kids made their own kites to fly.

This years 22nd Multicultural Fair at the University of Mary Washington was fantastic! Featuring multicultural entertainment, children's activities including face painting with Picasso Face and Body Painter, international and American food, ethnic vendors and a Bail Circle.
